Research Experience

B. Sc in  (Chemistry) from Serampore College (Calcutta University) in 1986, M.Sc in Biochemistry from Calcutta Universty in 1988, Qualified CSIR-UGC NET in 1989. Started research on signal transduction in Department of Biochemistry, Bose Institute in 1989.Joined in ICAR-NRCWS, Jabalpur in 1996 and worked on bio-control agents on weeds. Joined ICMR-NIOH, Ahmedabadand worked on biomarkers basing on biochemical toxicology with special reference to arsenic toxicology. Trained in Medical Biotechnology during In-country WHO Fellowship at AIIMS, New Delhi in 2009 and have experience on Immunology. Trained in arsenic induced immunotoxicity in arsenic affected population in University of Arizona in 2011.

 

Research Interests

Our laboratory is currently concentrating on diagnostic biomarkers of diseases as per mandate of institute.
