AUCTION NOTICE

NICED invites offer through sealed bid for Auction of the following Condemned Articles of the Institute on “as is where is basis” from bonafide buyers:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The materials will be available on “as is where is basis”.
    

2. Before submission of bid all the perspective bidders are advised to inspect the position of materials lying in Institute Office in all working days during working hours between 11.30 AM & 4.30 PM from 23/06/2010 to 08/07/2010. No claim will be entertained for the condition of materials after the submission of bid.
    

3. Security money shall be deposited along with the application seeking issue of bid documents in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order of a Schedule Bank issued in favour of the Director payable at Kolkata mentioned in Column No. 5 in the above table.
    

4. The successful bidder will have to deposit entire amount quoted in his bid after adjusting the amount of security money within 7 (seven) days of issue of letter of acceptance in favour of the Director mentioned in Column-5 in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order of a schedule Bank. Otherwise his security money will be forfeited in favour of Institute.
    

5. Before handing over the unserviceable materials to the successful bidder, he will have to give an affidavit cum undertaking that, he as owner of vehicle will not use it for any purpose other than entitle bonafide use to prevent any misuse of vehicle till it is in the ownership of Council. The N.O.C. will be issued after that.

6. Time allowed for lifting of materials is within 7 (seven) days from the date of issue of acceptance, otherwise Rs.250/- per day per vehicle/equipment will be charged for storage.
    

7. The department reserves the right to reject any perspective application/bid without assigning any reason.
    

8. The contractor has to arrange labours and conveyance for lifting the materials and disposed it off from the place where it is lying within the normal office hours and no extra payment will be made on this account.

The intending buyers/bidders may inspect the condemned articles with prior intimation to NICED for making necessary arrangement for inspection.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed Tender/Quotation(s) are invited for the following Instruments for use in NICED, Kolkata. Tender forms can be downloaded from web site www.niced.org.in.

Sealed tenders, complete in all respects, signed with stamp of firm on each page including the tender form, should be dropped in the tender box placed in the office. Tender will be opened by Tender Opening Committee and in presence of tenderers or their authorized representatives.

Important Instructions

1. EMD in the form of Demand Draft / Pay Order, in favour of Director, NICED, Kolkata from any scheduled bank. EMD in any other form will not be acceptable.
    

2. The cost of tender forms is Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only).
    

3. The terms and conditions, name of items with detail specifications can be downloaded from the website www.niced.org.in. Director, NICED, Kolkata has the full and exclusive rights to cancel the tender or extend the last date of submission of tender without assigning any reasons at any time.
    

4. In case tender form is downloaded from web site, the tender has to enclose the cost of Tender Form as Demand Draft (Rs.500/=) drawn in favor of Director, NICED, Kolkata along with the tender form besides the earnest money.
    

5. The validity of tender will be for the period of one year from the date of approval of the tender.
