An Walk-In-Interview for a DBT funded
Project “Serodiagnosis and molecular characterization of
Japanese Encephalitis virus amongst the AES cases in the districts
of West Bengal”. under Dr. Shyamalendu Chatterjee (tenure
upto 30th September, 2015) will be conducted on 18.04.2013 at 11.00

Research Assistant (non medical,
one):
Salary: 22,120 /-pm (fixed)
Qualification: M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in
Microbiology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with
sufficient knowledge on molecular biology, especially in DNA/RNA
isolation.
Desirable Qualification: Qualified CSIR/UGC JRF or ICMR/PGI
or DST or National Eligibility Test with a valid certificate.
N.B. Age limit 28. Age is
relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.

interactions and drug designing. Scientist I should assist
other scientists and research scholars of the host institute
and regional medical colleges in implementing and using
bioinformatics tools for research activities by arranging
workshops, short courses etc.
